A Taste of Home in Marietta

Our founder, Caroline Gitonga’s, passion is deeply rooted in her upbringing on the fertile slopes of Mt. Kenya. Inspired by her late mother, who generously prepared nourishing meals for her village with a heart full of compassion. Caroline continued her mother’s work in Nairobi, where she volunteered to prepare meals for over 100 street children each week. Seeing their joy from a nourishing meal solidified her commitment to service through food and fueled her desire to create a lasting impact.

This spirit guides our vision: to be a cherished culinary hub that bridges cultures through vibrant African flavors. We aspire to create meaningful dining experiences that celebrate our diverse heritage, champion authentic recipes, and foster community, connection, and wellness for generations to come.
